A few days ago we received Gitana's International Champion title. This helps a little to recover from the terrible shock of both Czardas' and the judge's bad performance on Sunday 5 April in Antwerp :-)
CONGRATS!!!!! Well done Gitana!!! And Stefano and Imelda... Bye! p.s. tnx for the congratulations. You're right, it takes a lot to show a breed like that... especuially when I had only 1 day to try it before the expo!
At Katnu we want to continue having healthy borzois, as they are now, while hoping to maintain and increase all the qualities we find important. Our ideal borzoi has a scissor bite and full dentition, strong under jaw, great reach of neck, powerful and correctly arched top lines, correct movement with low, daisy-cutting strides, good front and rear angulation, well-developed muscles, abundant silky, wavy coats, and long, feathered tails with correct carriage. Even more importantly, we also want to share our life with happy dogs.
Stef is a translator specialised in animal science and welfare, with an Animal Care certificate and a passion for dogs and dog shows. Imelda is studying for a degree in canine behaviour and training at the Bishop Burton college in the UK.
We want to develop this blog to capture the experiences and the development of our knowledge as we progress in the fascinating world of dogs, and especially of sighthounds.
